CONACT: SHANNON POLVINO
Former U.S. Attorney and prominent South Florida lawyer Kendall Coffey is available to discuss comments made by the judge who oversaw Casey Anthony’s 2011 trial. Judge Belvin Perry Jr., now retired, said Wednesday he believed it is possible Anthony may have tried to quiet her daughter Caylee with chloroform and accidentally killed her.
Coffey believes it’s unusual for judges, even those who retired, to publicly speculate in this way. But nonetheless, he believes the theory makes some sense. Coffey can discuss whether prosecutors should have explored such a theory during the trial or not.
Coffey was interviewed often during Casey Anthony’s murder trial and delivered important insight on all aspects of the case.
